Ofcom has issued a licence to ZEE Network UK for ZEE Punjabi.

In the latest batch of Ofcom notices, ZEE Punjabi replaced ZEE Tamil. The latter did not launch in the UK and neither is there any confirmation as of yet about ZEE Punjabi returning as a full-fledged channel in the UK.

Previously, ZEE Punjabi was available in the UK in its former avatar, Alpha ETC Punjabi. A selection of shows from the ZEE Punjabi library have also aired on ZEE TV over recent years.
