Nushrat Bharucha refuses weight pill endorsement

‘Sonu Ki Titu Ki Sweety’ (2018) actress Nushrat Bharucha has reportedly declined to endorse a weight management pill, BizAsiaLive.com can reveal.

The actress, who was approached by a pharmaceutical to take up the endorsement, has said she would not endorse what she doesn’t believe. “These pills are harmful and have major side effects. Firstly, we shouldn’t follow the mindset that we have to look a certain way. Even if you want to lose weight, do it the right way. You need to be comfortable with yourself first and then decide what you want to achieve. If you opt for shortcuts, there is a huge risk of going back to what you were in no time,” said Bharucha, according to TOI.

Bharucha has also said that changing the way you look for a film is part and parcel of being an actor, “I take my time to understand the nuances of a character and prepare for a role, which is why I take time to do films. I work hard on myself to fit the character”.
