NTV to re-launch on Sky Digital this week

Popular Bangladeshi entertainment channel, NTV is returning to Sky Digital this week, BizAsia can reveal.

Weeks after the channel was replaced with rival service, Channel Nine, NTV will be back in UK/Europe shores on Tuesday 1st May on Sky Digital channel 852.

As BizAsia revealed a few days ago, NTV will be returning under new management. Before NTV UK was abruptly taken off air in the UK, it had been broadcasting for four successful years.

Whilst no reason has been given on the sudden change over, rumours doing the rounds suggest it was politically driven. Both channels are backed by rival political parties.
