Nora Fatehi going all out for ‘Street Dancer 3D’

She is best known for performing some killer moves on screen, however, it seems ‘Street Dancer 3D’ is giving Nora Fatehi a whole new challenge in dancing. Currently gearing up for her role in the film, the actress-dancer is undergoing some vigorous training for a while range of different dance formats.

Known to be India’s biggest dance film, Fatehi has been rehearsing the likes of hip-hop. whacking and pop ‘n’ locking, and it seems she’s a little out of her depth. “I’ve been preparing for this for years, but now that I’m ready to shoot. I realise that the level of dancing is going to be about 50 times higher than anything I have done before,” New Indian Express reports her expressing.

She went on to add, “I am not a trained dancer, which is hard for people to believe. There have been many dance forms that have been very difficult for me to pick up, but once I’ve figured them, I’ve become comfortable. Contemporary was like that and right now, locking and popping is giving me sleepless nights. Whacking is also like that. Hip hop, Afro and even belly dancing were difficult, but only at the outset. I enjoy them now.”

Also starring Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor and Prabhu Deva, the Remo D’Souza directorial is currently well under-way where the shooting schedule, having started in Punjab, has now shifted to the UK where much of the cast have been spotted in the capital.
