No zombies in ‘Go Goa Gone’ sequel?

When ‘Go Goa Gone’ (2013) first released, it became the first film of it’s kind to feature zombies. Despite the film being a flop at the box office, directors Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK are bringing out a sequel to the film. They’ve recently revealed that zombies may not be in this second part.

As reported in Mid-day, DK said, “We are debating (on that part), may be not. The humour is in discovery. Earlier they (characters) were trying to figure out what is a zombie. Now it might become too dramatic. We are just toying with the idea. The idea of the film was not about zombies but discovering something alien.”

The directors have said that they plan on having the same cast, which included Saif Ali Khan, Kunal Khemu and Vir Das. The first draft for the sequel is now ready and the directors are putting the schedule together. “We are now figuring out when to do it. It’s all about getting the dates,” said Nidimoru.
