No rift between me & Shah Rukh Khan says Karan Johar

Cutting down rumours about his alleged wrecked friendship with superstar Shah Rukh Khan, filmmaker Karan Johar said that his bond with Khan is beyond work.

Johar rubbished all the reports and insisted that he and Khan are still good friends. “Some relationships are beyond work and my relationship with him (Shah Rukh) will always be like that. I know that in crisis be it emotional, personal or professional, he is one of the people I will always turn to and I am sure he will also do the same.” he told Hindustan Times.

Also, when quizzed about him not making any movies with Khan in future, Johar said, “It’s simply ridiculous. SRK is a humongous star and has been a part of my company’s journey more than any other actor. Shah Rukh and I would love to come together in a special film. And I am sure it will happen very soon.”

Ever since, Johar invited Shah Rukh’s foe-friend Salman Khan on the curtain raiser episode of his celebrated chat show ‘Koffee With Karan’, reports have surfaced about their Kaput friendship. Also, the reports got more relevance, when Shah Rukh didn’t appear on the chat show and Johar roped in Salman for ‘Shuddhi’.
