No plan for ‘Delhi Belly’ sequel

Sequels are the order of the day in Bollywood. So ,when ‘Delhi Belly’ (2011) released and went on to become a cult blockbuster there were inevitable��rumours of a sequel. However, it can be revealed that there are no plans in place to bring a sequel to the Imran Khan starrer.

The director of ‘Delhi Belly’, Abhinay Deo, is currently engrossed in the scripting of the Indian version of the Hollywood��TV show ’24’ which will have Anil Kapoor in the lead.

Deo is writing the script alongside another Bollywood director, Rensil D’Silva. Not only is he writing the script but will also be��co-producing the show with Kapoor. After the show is done, Deo��has three scripts he will look into directing but the ‘Delhi Belly’ sequel is not one of them.

Shooting of the show will commence from September.
