No joint ‘Udta Punjab’ promotions for Shahid-Kareena

During the trailer launch of ‘Udta Punjab’ last week, ex lovers Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan were seen together with Alia Bhatt and Diljit Dosanjh. However, although Kapoor and Kapoor Khan won’t be seen sharing the screen in the film, BizAsia has learnt that they won’t be partaking in any joint promotions either.

According to Pinkvilla, a leading daily has reported that Kapoor Khan has refused to promote the film with her ex-boyfriend. Although the trailer launch took place with the full cast and director Abhishek Chaubey, the actress will not be seen during interviews or other press meets with Kapoor.

News has it that producer Ekta Kapoor and Chaubey had to convince Kapoor Khan to attend the first trailer launch. It doesn’t likely that she’ll agree to anything more judging by the awkwardness during the event.
