No dance numbers for Alia Bhatt in ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’?

After months of rumours about Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’, it has now emerged that lead actor, Alia Bhatt will not be performing any dance numbers in the film, contrary to earlier reports.

A source was cited in Box Office Worldwide saying, “Though Gangubai Kathiawadi is not a song less film like SLB (Sanjay Leela Bhansali)’s Black, it is certainly not a musical like Devdas or Saawariya. SLB has composed some songs for the film that are moody atmospheric and mostly will be played in the background.”

Latest rumours suggest that Huma Qureshi will be the only one performing a dance number in the film.
