No confirmation for Abhishek-Aishwarya’s ‘Happy Anniversary’

There were reports a few days ago about Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s silver screen comeback vehicle opposite her husband in the directorial debut of Prahlad Kakkar. However, it seems there has been no confirmation relating to the project as yet.

As reported by Hindustan Times, Abhishek said, “They�۪ve met us but nothing has been decided or confirmed. I am yet to hear the full script”.

Kakkar also commented about the forthcoming venture which is being produced by Gaurang Doshi, “They agreed on principle to do the film, if they liked the script. We gave them a brief about the film, but we�۪ve not signed any contracts or discussed the details. Reports like these spoil relationships. The actors hear a lot of scripts; ours was just one of the many”.

One can only hope that an official announcement comes soon in favour of Rai Bachchan’s much-awaited return.
