No competition between Bollywood’s new faces

As the list of fresh faces grows in the Indian film industry, there seems to be mutual respect for each other. So much so that competition is almost non existent between them.

Actress Parineeti Chopra who debuted with ‘Ladies vs Ricky Bahl’ (2011), spoke to reporters expressing how most of the newcomers from the industry, all are friends who help and support each other. “For people, we are a bunch of newcomers but we are all friends -��Varun, Arjun, Alia, Ranveer, Siddharth and Sushant Singh are all my friends. Each one is doing many endorsements so we don’t see it that way. We have fun and enjoy our work. We do it with a lot of joy,” Times Of India reported the actress stating.

With filmmakers attempting different genres and new ideas, it seems like this is the best time for newcomers to make their mark in Bollywood. With so many opportunities to be noticed, it’s assuring to see that competition is less between themselves. Let’s hope this attitude carries on, and we see more of these faces in new films.
