Niti Taylor to play new lead in ‘Dhinchak Ishqbaaz’?

Star Plus’ weekday fiction ‘Dhinchak Ishqbaaz’ has been continuously in the news after it underwent a generation leap, which resulted in the loss of a number of major characters.

Recently, the show introduced a leap with Nakuul Mehta remaining on the show, playing Shivaansh Singh Oberoi. His co-star, Manjiri Pupala was roped in to play his romantic lead. However, it has been reported over the past few days that Pupala’s character will be turning negative, to make way for a new female lead on the show.

IWM Buzz reports today that Niti Taylor is expected to be confirmed as the new lead opposite Mehta in ‘Dhinchak Ishqbaaz’. She will take on the role of Mannat Khurana. Taylor has been undergoing treatment for internal abdominal bleeding but is said to have resumed work.

Taylor has previously been seen in ‘Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan’ and ‘Ghulaam’.
