Nitesh Tiwari to do screen adaptation for his next venture

‘Dangal’ (2016) director, Nitesh Tiwari, is all set to work on his next, an adaptation of a novel titled ‘How I Braved Anu Aunty & CoFounded A Million Dollar Company’, written by Varun Agarwal in 2012.

There has been much speculation about Tiwari’s next project after ‘Dangal’. According to Times of India, after bringing Mahavir Phogat and his wrestler champion daughters, Geeta (Fatima Sana Shaikh) and Babita (Sanya Malhotra), Tiwari has set his mind on a screen adaptation of a 2012 debut novel.

‘The book is a true story set in Bangalore about pursuing one’s dreams, or, as its author puts it, “Take the leap and then think”, as quoted by the publication.

Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapur will be seen producing this movie under their banners. Interestingly, both of them had been associated with Tiwari back in the debutante days of ‘Chillar Party’ (2011). Roy Kapur had gone on to tie-up with Tiwari on ‘Dangal’, one highly engrossing script which had made an indelible mark in Indian cinema.

This movie is surely capable of captivating the newer generation who are brewing with ideas of startup cultures and feisty entrepreneurial spirit.

Conventional careers are no longer opted as it used to be before. Hence, a young actor will stand a greater chance of selection for the film.
