Nimrat Kaur, who garnered success after her performance in critically acclaimed ‘Airlift’ (2016) earlier this year, has not yet signed another Bollywood film. Soon after the release of ‘Airlift’, Kaur shifted toVancouver, in order to shoot for the Americanmystery, science fiction television series, ‘Wayward Pines’.

Commenting on the same, according toHindustan Times, she confirmed, “Well, I have been up to a lot in the last year, it is really been a whirlwind. January was when Airlift۪ released, and it was like one thing after the other and before you knew it, it was all over and then my sister was getting married so that was like a month of festivities and madness, and during my sister۪s wedding came up a job that required me to spend almost half a year in Vancouver.”

Initially noticed for her work in Ritesh Batra directorial, ‘The Lunchbox’ (2013), the model turned actress landed a role in popular American series ‘Homeland’, following which she was cast in ‘Wayward Pines’.

As the shooting for the series has now concluded and Kaur has finally returned to India, it appears she has even more to forward to, “I was filming ‘Wayward Pines’ there for Fox Network. So, I have literally just come back and I am just about kind of getting into the groove of things here. So ya, it۪s really been… probably the most unpredictable, incredible year that I could have had so far.”
