Nimbus wins another arbitration case against BCCI

Nimbus has won yet another arbitration case against the Indian cricket board, BCCI over early termination of production rights.

Mumbai Mirror reports that the BCCI has been ordered to pay Rs. 12 crore to Nimbus for wrongfully terminating the television production agreement in 2011/2012.

Nimbus is confident that the third arbitration, will also go its way. A company spokesperson said, “The third arbitration, relating to the media rights, is underway and expected to conclude in the coming few months. The Nimbus’ claim in the same is in excess of Rs 4000 crores plus interest. We’re confident that the verdict will come in our favour.”
