Nihal Arthanayake to leave BBC Asian Network this month

After exclusively learnt that Bollywood duo, Raj & Pablo will be leaving the BBC Asian Network this summer, it has now been confirmed that Nihal Arthanayake will step down from ‘The Big Debate’ show this month.

Taking to Instagram, the BBC Asian Network shared a picture of the popular radio presenter, along with the caption, “After an amazing 14 years presenting on the Asian Network, Nihal will be leaving The Big Debate on March 27. @therealnihal has been an integral part of the Asian Network family and we’d like to thank him for his dedication and commitment to the station.”

Nihal, who also fronts a weekday show on BBC Radio 5 Live, has been a part of the BBC Asian Network for 14 years. He recently reduced his shows on the Asian Network to just Fridays. The Friday show will be taken up by Qasá Alom.
