Nia Sharma & Ravi Dubey in ZEE TV’s new show

ZEE TV will be launching its new show in the coming weeks, which is being described as a remake of the 90s hit Bollywood movie ‘Jamai Raja’.

The new show will see the return of Nia Sharma in the lead. The actress has been off screen since ‘Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai’ ended last year. She was known for her character Maanvi. Ravi Dubey will be paired opposite her as her doted husband.

The new show will be loosely based on the film and also the 90s TV drama ‘Ghar Jamai’ where Dubey’s character will live with his in-laws and the fun that follows. It is being produced by Sagar Arts. It will also star Achint Kaur and Delnaaz Irani.

Shooting of the show has already commenced but not on regular basis. The channel is keeping tight-lipped on when the new show will launch but it is expected sometime in May or after IPL.
