NewsX to start broadcasting on 9X UK

INX Network certainly is making inroads in the UK. Its Hindi flagship service 9X will begin broadcasting bulletins from the group’s news channel NewsX.

9X will relay 60-minute bulletins from NewsX at 07:00, 11:00 and 16:30 (BST) live from India. The new addition coincides with 9X’s new look schedule for viewers in the UK from September. Full details on BizAsia.co.uk here.

INX Network has been planning to launch NewsX in the UK market after successfully bringing 9X and 9XM on the Sky Digital platform recently. The introduction of NewsX bulletins on 9X UK paves the path for the channel to launch fully subject to EPG availability. 9X and 9XM took over the slots from DD News and DD India respectively.

NewsX is an English news channel. It made its soft launch in India in March, followed by a full in April. It remains India�۪s first HDTV ready English news channel and uses a network of interconnected bureaus using the latest video technology to offer the widest range of national and international news.

NewsX bulletins are set to commence on 9X’s UK feed later this month.
