News18 moved to old MTV Beats EPG on Sky in UK

Viacom18’s news channel, News18 has been shifted to Sky channel 713, after MTV Beats ceased broadcasting today on the Sky EPG in UK.

News18, which was previously available on Sky EPG 520, due to its English content, will be re-positioning into a fully fledged Hindi news channel, with only certain slots continuing to broadcast in English.

Since News18 launched in the UK, it has been one of the least watched Asian news channels. However, with the switch to Hindi programming, it could prove a successful move.
