News channels brace themselves for Budget 2016

Indian news broadcasters have braced themselves to bring viewers the best coverage for this year’s Union Budget on Monday (29th February).

The channel’s coverage known as ‘Budget Buzz’ will commence at 08:00 fronted by Shweta Rajpal Kohli and Vikram Chandra. The post budget speech will be hosted by Prannoy Roy with CEOs at 11:00. At 19:00, Manisha Natarajan will look at tax implications with a panel of tax experts. A full analysis of the day’s coverage will conclude between 20:00 – 22:00 hosted by Roy.

Rolling news coverage will air under the brand ‘The Booster Budget’. Its panel of experts will include leading economists and industry leaders.

Times Now
Times Now’s coverage called ‘Budget Day Live’ will be fronted by Arnab Goswami. It will be rolling coverage throughout the day.
