Newcomer to star opposite SRK in ‘Don 3’?

BizAsia recently reported that Priyanka Chopra was not to be a part of Farhan Akhtar’s ‘Don 3’. Due to this news, there has been much speculation on who will take her place, however it seems producers may go down a different route.

As reported by��Times of India, rumours are doing the rounds that the production team is thinking of roping in a completely new actress opposite Shah Rukh Khan. With so many fresh faces making their mark so well within the industry, it seems they feel it could be the right time for the ‘Don’ franchise to explore a newcomer to add to the thrilling plot.

The decision for Chopra to opt out of the third instalment, despite having been a part of ‘Don’ (2006) and ‘Don 2’ (2011) was a joint one by Akhtar and Chopra herself. Though the reports have yet to be confirmed the news of a fresh face being singed, Akhtar who had directed the first two films is still in the process of script reading. So it will be a while before any official announcement is made.
