New Salman Khan TV show rejected by Colors?

Salman Khan’s next TV show is still yet to find a taker after Colors reportedly rejected a format by the producers.

According to Times Of India, Colors was not keen on getting Khan for the show as they did not want to overexpose him, who is linked to the hit show ‘Bigg Boss’ on the same channel.

A source told Mid-Day, The tentative title of the show is ‘Paanch Ka Punch’ and it is a fun show that promises a lot of entertainment along with a strong social message. Having liked the concept, Salman has already given it his nod. Accordingly, Siddharth Basu۪s production house first approached the said channel. But they have now turned it down as they felt that Salman hosting another show on their channel would amount to an overdose for their audiences.۝

When contacted, official spokesperson for Colors said, We don۪t communicate on speculative articles. We aren۪t aware of any such thing.۝

The production house is said to be in talks with ZEE TV about acquiring the show.
