New religious series on Imagine from January

After all the noise on and off screen with Rakhi Sawant’s ‘Rakhi Ka Insaaf’ on Imagine…Dil Se, the channel is now looking at some sort of good deed with a new religious series.

‘Bhagwan Buddha’ stars new face Siddhartha in the lead role. Shahbaaz Khan plays the role of Emperor Ashoka, Shailendra Gaur as Buddha’s father Suddhodana from the Shakya Dynasty and Hemant Pandey as Koutinya; Kamal Adib and Pramod Mathur too are part of the show.

‘Bhagwan Buddha’ will take a Sunday morning slot from January. The show will be produced under the Angle’s Creation banner and Sanskriti Media will be handling its online production and marketing.
