New Islamic channel begins tests on Sky

A new Islamic educational channel has begun testing, signalling a full launch is imminent on the Sky Digital EPG.

Peace TV is an Urdu and English channel broadcasting from India. The channel has been available in various parts of the world including Asia, the Middle East, Europe, Africa and Australia, since January 2006.

Launch details for Peace TV are currently sketchy. BizAsia.co.uk made numerous attempts to obtain some information from the broadcaster but was unable to at the time of filing this article.

-> Using your Sky Digi remote, go to Services Menu
-> System Setup (4)
-> Add Channels (4)
-> Enter the frequency: 12.523 (H), FEC 2/3, Symbol Rate 27500
-> Find Channels and Press SELECT
-> Highlight “GNTV” service and press Yellow button.
-> Return to Services Menu
-> Other Channels (6) on STB / (8) on Sky+
-> “GNTV” should be listed and available
