New drama to launch on ZEE TV in March

ZEE TV UK will be launching its first new mega drama of 2010, ‘Do Saheliyaan…Kismat Ki Kathputliyaan’, in March, BizAsia.co.uk can confirm.

With ‘Do Saheliyaan’, the channel will once again expand its primetime schedule with the show taking over the 19:30 slot from Monday 8th March. It will replace ‘Aap Ki Antra’, which ends on Wednesday 3rd March.

A source gave us a hint on what the show will be about, “The storyline revolves around two best friends, one is poor and other is rich and how eventually they both get stuck by their fate when they grow old in their life and the way the life takes examinations.

‘Do Saheliyaan’ starcast is lead by Sulagna Panigrahi and Ankita Srivastava. Gaurav Choudhary and Raunaq Ahuja will play the two male leads and the supporting cast include Ravi Gosain, Akshay Anand, Sakshi Tanwar and Mouni Roy.

This will be Sakshi’s first role on TV since finishing on STAR Plus’, ‘Kahani Ghar Ghar Kii’.

‘Do Saheliyaan…Kismat Ki Kathputliyaan’ starts on Monday 8th March at 19:30 on ZEE TV UK.

The channel is also showing ‘Simply Sapney’ – an old series from the now defunct channel, ZEE Next, which will replace another ZEE Next show – ‘Yahan Ke Hum Sikander’ from Monday 22nd March.
