New Asian London radio station begins tests

As reported first through out BizAsia Industry Whisper, a new Asian radio station based in London has begun testing online.

The station known as Hot Asia Jamz is being launched as a collaboration between Panjab Radio’s Surjit Ghuman and Hypnotize Crew’s Afy Siddique.

Hot Asia Jamz is expected to fill the gap that has been left vacant by Panjab Radio’s sister station, Asian FX and also as a rival to youth station, Buzz Asia – owned by the Lit Corporation.

Hot Asia Jamz has been described as “London’s freshest funkiest Urban Asian hit music station”. It is based in Hayes on Springfield Road.

Hot Asia Jamz will be available as an online-only station, followed with a launch on DAB digital radio in London and other parts of the UK. It is expected to fully launch in June.
