New agency appoints Mathur as Int. Sales Head

A former ZEE Entertainment, ZEE International, Radio City and Webdunia.com employee, has been appointed as the International Sales Head of integrated advertising agency, Manhattan Communications.

Mathur will be responsible for clients based in India who are targeting the ethnic South Asian audiences in international markets. He will report to Shantonu Aditya, co-promoter and director, Manhattan Communications.

Aditya says, “With his experience, we look forward to growing our international sales business even faster in the coming months.” While consolidating its digital and marketing solutions business, the company has now focused on its international advertising sales business from India.

Mathur says, “With offices in New York, Toronto, London and India, I am sure that we can leverage the business opportunities across continents. The team here is aggressive and dynamic and I find that a big change.”

The agency specialises in targeting the South Asian diaspora in the international market and continues its aggressive growth across the US, Canada and India. The agency will also push its services in the UK from next year.

Manhattan Communications has offices in the US, Canada, the UK and India. It has fully owned subsidiary companies in MediaMorphosis LLC, a full service agency based in New York; and Ethnocast Inc., an ad network with proven digital technology. The shareholders of the company include Bennett Coleman and Co. and PayPod, USA.
