Network18 extends CNN partnership for CNN News18 until 2035
Network18 has renewed its long‑standing partnership with CNN International, extending the brand and content licensing agreement for its flagship English news channel, CNN‑News18, for a further ten years until 31st December 2035.
The renewal marks the beginning of the collaboration’s third decade, following earlier agreements established in 2005 and renewed in 2015. The extended partnership will now move beyond traditional broadcasting, with a stronger emphasis on digital expansion. CNN‑News18 is set to enhance its presence across platforms such as YouTube and Connected TV, with plans to reach wider international audiences.
Rahul Joshi, Managing Director and Editor‑in‑Chief of Network18 Group, described the renewed agreement as a landmark moment, noting that the partnership will open new avenues for growth, particularly across digital and connected‑TV ecosystems.
