Netflix denies rumours of suing ‘Kaabil’ makers for plagiarism

Netflix has denied rumours that it plans to sue makers of Hrithik Roshan’s upcoming film ‘Kaabil’ for its alleged similarities with show ‘Daredevil’.

There were reports that the company was unhappy with the alleged plagiarism. However, Deccan Chronicle reported Netflix rejecting the claims and they did not intend to take such step.

Meanwhile, Sanjay Gupta, director of ‘Kaabil’ said, “It is a preposterous comparison because Hrithik is not a superhero in Kaabil. His character is that of a blind man who does what he does best. In Daredevil, the protagonist fights 30 people at a time. None of that is happening in Kaabil. If they sue us, we’ll definitely fight back.”
