The allegations against Ness Wadia continue to spiral after latest reports emerged that Mumbai police was contemplating adding charges of stalking against the Kings XI Punjab co-owner.
The Indian Express reports that Preity Zinta allegedly warned her ex-boyfriend to behave and stop following her through a series of emails.
We will study the contents of the emails and see if it fits into section 354 (d) of the Criminal Law (Amendment) Act, 2013, said a senior official.
An officer added, We have asked Preity Zinta to provide us with copies of the series of e-mails exchanged between the two. She has said these emails were sent before the incident where she had specifically asked him to stay away from her.”
Zinta is currently in the USA. She has been asked to cut short her trip to record details of the allegations against Wadia.
