Actor Neil Nitin Mukesh who recently starred in ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ (2015) states that young actors like to talk about box office collections just to sound cool.
Mukesh believes that the young actors of today talk about the film business, but they don’t know anything about it. He told Mid-Day, “Now a days I hear so many young actors discussing business. Trust me, I am sure they have no idea of how the business of cinema works. They don’t know what the collections are like, but they just want to sound cool. Unfortunately, just to sound cool I won’t make any conversation.”
Mukesh further added his disregard for the box office collection, “I am an artist, I don’t want to dilute my craft by sitting and discussing Friday business and box office collections. If you want to come and discuss how beautifully written a story was, then I would love to do that. But if you come and tell me ‘This is a super hit film because it did a Friday business of 100-cr’, that doesn’t excite me at all. I keep myself far away from that conversation.”
