His last stint in 2013’s Shortcut Romeo’ was received averagely by audiences, however after a long break, Neil Nitin Mukesh is hoping his forthcoming release will see a whole lot more success.
Sharing the screen with none other than Salman Khan, Mukesh will be seen playing his younger brother in ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’. Talking about the film, ZEENews reported Mukeshstating, “Just wishing myself to work very hard. I’ve an exciting film releasing this year ‘Pream Ratan Dhan Payo’… It’s shaping up very well, a lot of work is still left. But, hopefully a Diwali release… so, looking forward to it.”
Expressing his excitement, the actorwent onto add, “I don’t want to spill the beans actually. But it’s a film that one should look forward to. It is very different from typical Sooraj Barjatya film. It is a family-oriented, family drama film. It is set in a royalty family… It’s an opus. So, yes, looking forward to it.”
The film will also star Sonam Kapoor as leading lady, with whom Mukesh has worked with before. When asked about his experience with working with her again along with Khan, the actor was all in praise for them, “I’ve worked with Sonam before in Players. She is a great person, she has evolved as an actor… and I love to see the confidence she has right now. As far as Salman bhai (Salman Khan) is concerned, he is like my elder brother. Words are not enough to praise him. He is a great human being… he is so helpful and very supportive.”
Directed by Sooraj Barjatya, ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ is set for release at Diwali 2015.
