As news hit that Neil Nitin Mukesh had been offered a role in the next season of HBO’s ‘Game of Thrones’, it seemed to have gone more viral than he expected. So it came to no surprise when HBO themselves apparently issued a statement stating that this was untrue. To this Mukesh explained how this was an unofficial statement however he can’t reveal anything about his development in the show.
“AsofnowIamnotallowedtocommentanythingbecausemy globalagencieshaverefrainedmefromdoingso.Unfortunately, outhere informationbecomesconfirmationandspeculationaboutmedoingtheshow has gone out of control. Somebody started it and I don’t even know how it started trending. Unfortunately for actors like us, who are trying very hard to reach a global platform, it becomes a little dicey at times when this type of speculation arises. The best is when I leave all the comments for my global agencies to make,” Pinkvilla reported the actor stating.
Though the actor didn’t deny the speculation s he didn’t seem ready to reveal anything just yet, as he went onto say, “I am not really allowed to say anything right now. Unfortunately, in India we are only interested in knowing whether an artiste has an offer, or if there is any confirmation, but in the West they work in a very, very different way.”
“So it is not about an offer, it is about how my people are pursuing it, and any which ways, is too far-fetched to comment,’ he added.
Though Mukesh isn’t ready to talk about his ventures across the seas, his forthcoming film in the East will see him sharing the screen with Salman Khan and Sonam Kapoor in the Rajshri Production ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’, which is set for release on 12th November.
