‘Neerja’ was possible because of Sonam Kapoor’s price cut

Sonam Kapoor’s ‘Neerja’ is garnering much buzz.��Her performance in the film could be��one of her most noted, and producer Atul Kasbekar says that the film was only possible because of the price cut��she took for the film.

The Deccan Chronicle reports Kapoor saying, “Yes, Sonam reduced her fee for Neerja. There is no other way this movie could have been made.”

‘Neerja’ is this weekend’s big release, and also stars Shabana Azmi, and marks the debut of singer-composer Shekhar Ravjiani.
