Neeraj Pandey to make web-series based on Masood Azhar

Known for his action-packed dramas, it’s being rumoured that Neeraj Pandey is all set to make a web-series based on terrorist Masood Azhar, who conspired against the Indian Parliament in 2001.

“Neeraj is basically working on a web series on the parliament attack. He was to earlier make ‘Chanakya’ with Ajay Devgn, but since Devgn’s dates are choc-a-bloc now, he has pushed that project to make a web series on the attack.” Deccan Chronicle reports a source reveal.

They went on to add, “The details and the research on the project enabled Neeraj to look at the story as a web series rather than a film. Neeraj excels in telling stories about terrorism as he showed in ‘A Wednesday’ (2008), ‘Baby’ (2015) and ‘Naam Shabana’ (2017) as well.”

Further news suggests that the director has already roped in Paresh Rawal, Jimmy Sheirgill and Sajjad Delafrooz to play lead characters.
