Sidharth-Manoj in Neeraj Pandey’s ‘Aiyaary’
After entertaining audiences around the world with movies like ‘Special 26’ (2013), ‘Baby’ (2015) and ‘Naam Shabana’ (2017), Neeraj Pandey is all set for his upcoming directorial venture.
Like ‘Special 26,’ which was inspired by the 1987 Opera House heist where a group posing as CBI officers executed an income tax raid on Mumbai jewellers and took off with “samples” of jewellery and cash, this movie titled ‘Aiyaary’ will also be based on true events.
The movie will also feature Sidharth Malhotra and Manoj Bajpayee together for the first time. The film revolves around the relationship between a mentor and a protégé. Pandey was looking to explore a different kind of a story after ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’ (2016).
