Neeraj Kumar waited three years to cast Akshay Kumar

Director Neeraj Kumar’s next film ‘Special Chabbis’ (2013) is set to hit theatres soon and had apparently waited a long time to get Akshay Kumar on board.

According to Times Of India, here is what the director had to say, ���I waited three years to work with him. It’s great working with him and I’m glad he accepted. We found common ground. With ��Special Chabbis�۪, Akshay’s image will be that of an anti hero, something he’s not really done before ,I was not skeptical about casting Akshay just because some of his films flopped last year. That’s not how you cast actors. You take them in your film because they fit in”.

The film reflects many real life incidents and has been shot in different cities of India including Delhi, Mumbai, Jaipur and Chandigarh.
