Neeraj Dhingra to step down from CEO post of ZEE UK/Europe

After a five-year stint with ZEE Network UK/Europe, Neeraj Dhingra is stepping down as CEO later this month.

Dhingra, who has been overlooking the business of ZEE Network in UK/Europe, has faced challenging times recently. Its flagship channel, ZEE TV has been lagging behind other Asian TV channels since the Sky changes were made last year. Despite all efforts and a number of events and marketing campaigns, ZEE TV has struggled in UK ratings.

Under Dhingra’s leadership, ZEE Network UK has expanded its portfolio of channels on Sky and Virgin Media in the UK. In Europe, its German channel, ZEE One was also introduced in the market.

Prior to joining ZEE, Dhingra was Chief Executive Officer, Carlton Travel Goods Ltd. which is a leading British brand of luggage and travel accessories with worldwide distribution.

It is not yet known, who will replace Dhingra when he leaves on 28th September 2018.
