Neelima Azeem on her newly born granddaughter

Yesterday came the news that Shahid Kapoor and wife Mira were blessed with a daughter. Kapoor’s mother Neelima Azeem has spoken about her happiness about the new arrival.

“This is the first baby. I am a new grandmother. This is a new phase and I can’t explain how it feels like. I really wanted a granddaughter, so I am absolutely thrilled and I feel so blessed. I have two sons and now I have a granddaughter,” TOI reports Azeem saying.

Azeem went on to say, “I thank everybody for their wishes and support. Both mother and daughter are doing fine and my granddaughter looks absolutely gorgeous. Their parents are so happy. It’s the fourth generation”.

Kapoor took to Twitter to thank everyone for their wishes.
