NDTV website voted ‘Website of the Year’

In a recent survey done by international research agency MetrixLab, the second largest online research agency in Europe, NDTV.com has emerged as the most popular Indian news website, displacing last year’s winner, TimesofIndia.com.

‘Website of the Year’ is the people۪s choice website award initiative by MetrixLab, in association with AC Nielsen/ NetRatings and several local mass media partners. The survey was conducted over five weeks, from 3rd November to 8th December, and netted 1.5 million votes.

“It is indeed a high point for NDTV Convergence, especially since this award is decided by an online poll,” said Sanjay Trehan, CEO, NDTV Convergence. “While figures show that we have been consistently beating our competition during the last few months in terms of page views and unique visitors, this is definitely a feather in the cap. Not only have we been voted excellent on the basis of content, which has been our forte, but also on navigation and design. This further validates our commitment to serve our users with the best in the class,” he added.
