NDTV ties up with Indian cricketer Dhoni

India’s high ranking news channel NDTV has tied up with wicket-keeper-batsman Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

Starting from 7th May 2006, the contract between the cricket player and the channel is for a period of one year. In this tenure, Indian cricket�۪s latest poster boy will be available exclusively on NDTV for interviews, views and special shows.

According to Roy, himself an icon for many an Indian, the decision to sign Dhoni was taken in view of his ���immense talent, maturity and exemplary display of sportsmanship.�۝

Commenting on the tie-up, the dashing cricketer said, ���It is a privilege to be associated with India�۪s most reputed and respected media house. I am sure that through this platform I will be able to reach out to all cricketing fans in India and across the world.�۝

To begin with, Dhoni will feature in NDTV�۪s special programme India Questions on NDTV 24×7 with Roy and on NDTV India with Abhigyan Prakash, which was recorded on Sunday.
