NDTV has launched two new channels exclusively on Virgin Media.
As revealed first on BizAsiaLive.com, the two services NDTV Spice and NDTV India begun testing earlier this year. NDTV Spice is positioned as an Indian food channel, while NDTV India is the Hindi news channel from the company.
Unlike other Asian broadcasters, NDTV has been chosen to launch its services on Virgin Media rather than Sky. NDTV Good Times is the other channel, which is available exclusively on Virgin Media. NDTV 24×7 – the English news channel is available on both Sky and Virgin Media.
It remains to be seen if the two new channels launch on Sky anytime soon.
