NDTV Imagine set for rebrand to Imagine TV

With Turner Asia Pacific Ventures acquisition of NDTV Imagine now complete, its three channels will all be rebranded with new identities.

For UK viewers, the most significant change visible will be the name change of NDTV Imagine to Imagine TV. New owners, Turner Asia Pacific Ventures, will be dropping all NDTV tags from all its newly acquired channels.

Viewers in India will also channel name changes of Lumiere Movies and Imagine Showbiz. The three channels will be under Turner General Entertainment Networks.

It was announced in December last year that Turner Asia Pacific will be buying a 92% stake in NDTV Imagine Ltd from NDTV Networks Plc., an indirect subsidiary of NDTV Ltd.

It is not clear when NDTV Imagine will be morphed into Imagine TV in the UK but likely sometime in March.
