NDTV Good Times eyeing a UK launch?

Indian lifestyle channel, NDTV Good Times is rumoured to launch in the UK market in the foreseeable future.

NDTV Good Times is the flagship channel of NDTV Lifestyle, part of the NDTV Group. The English-language channel is targeted to viewers who live in style, adore fashion, are adventurous about food and travel and want more out every moment in life with both back packing and high flying budgets.

NDTV Good Times has won numerous awards since its inception in 2007. It presents aspirational lifestyle programming that advocates living large – giving its viewers affirmative mantras for how to enjoy food both Highway and Michelin star, find good health through salsa and yoga, fashion on ramps both Indian and global and how to relish Travel and Luxury from both far and near. The lineup of shows covers every aspect of the lifestyle genre to portray and cater to an increasingly global India.

A licence for NDTV Good Times was approved last month by Ofcom. However, it is not yet known if the channel will be launching in the UK or if it will be broadcasting from the UK to other parts of Europe.

NDTV already successfully runs NDTV 24×7 on Sky Digital and Virgin Media.
