Looking at the preliminary data supplied by Attentional, NDTV 24×7 was the leading Indian news channel in the UK during the following slots:
06:00 – 09:30
12:30 – 15:30
17:15 – 22:30

Overall, NDTV 24×7 averaged with an audience of 11,200 viewers between 06:00 – 00:00.

In second place was News18 India, which triumphed between 09:30 – 12:30 with an average of 17,400 viewers, compared to a measly 5,300 viewers during the same slot on NDTV 24×7. Overall, News18 India averaged with an audience of 7,400 viewers between 06:00 – 00:00.

In third was Aaj Tak was the leading news channel from India at 19:00 – 22:30 with an average 11,000 viewers and a further 7,100 viewers between 22:30 – 00:00. Aaj Tak overall was the most watched Indian news channel in the UK during the primetime slot. Overall, Aaj Tak averaged with an audience of 4,300 viewers between 06:00 – 00:00.

In fourth was ABP News, which led the ratings between 15:30 – 17:15 with an average 5,900 viewers. This was the only slot that ABP News took lead in. Overall, ABP News averaged with an audience of 3,600 viewers between 06:00 – 00:000.

Generally, the two English news broadcasters – NDTV 24×7 and News18 India, plus the English programming on Aaj Tak (Headlines Today) proved the biggest successes in the UK ratings.
