NDTV 24×7 signs up to BARB

NDTV 24×7 has become the latest Asian news broadcaster to have its audience measured officially by BARB.

The UK audience measuring audience will begin reporting official viewing figures for NDTV 24×7 later this month. NDTV 24×7 joins the likes of Al Jazeera English, Aaj Tak, News18 India, ABP News, ARY News and Geo News to have data verified by an official agency.

While Al Jazeera English leads the Asian news genre in the UK – it’s Aaj Tak that has the most viewers in terms of Indian news channels and ARY News leading in the Pakistani news race. Newcomer, News18 India – owned by TV18 and distributed by IndiaCast is yet to make a mark. SAMAA TV will also begin BARB reporting next month.

NDTV 24×7 has been the longest serving Asian news broadcaster in the UK. It is available on both Sky Digital and Virgin Media.

Official viewing data for NDTV 24×7 will be released from Monday 30th September.
