NDTV 24×7 has responded to the government’s decision to ban the controversial documentary ‘India’s Daughter’ by blacking out its signal on Sunday night.
The channel scrapped its usual transmission with an on-air message of the documentary’s name. The message appeared for an hour when the documentary was scheduled to air.
NDTV Editorial Director and Anchor, Sonia Singh went on Twitter to express her stance.

The much debated documentary features an interview with one of the men convicted of the Delhi bus rape. Earlier this week, BBC Four advanced telecast the broadcast of ‘India’s Daughter’ for UK viewers. It will repeated again tonight at 22:00.
