NCLT to hear ZEE appeal after failed merger with Sony
ZEE merger talks with Sony collapse
The National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) has agreed to hear the plea of ZEE Entertainment Enterprises Limited (ZEEL) after its merger with Sony Pictures Networks was terminated by the latter.
Sony has been given three weeks by NCLT to respond to the petition. Sony cited a clause in the pact that the NCLT approval is subject to conditions.
The hearing for the case is scheduled for 12th March 2024.
