NCB on Arjun Rampal questioning: “We have found a discrepancy in the statements”

BizAsiaLive.com reported a few days back that the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) had summoned Arjun Rampal for questioning in their ongoing drugs probe. The actor has reportedly had a “discrepancy” in his statements, the NCB have said, after he’s been questioned today for the second time.

“The investigation is on in Arjun Rampal case we have not given him a clean chit,” said Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede, as quoted by E Times. “We have found a discrepancy in the statements given to us and therefore examining it. And if the need arises we will call him again”.

Rampal will be summoned again but he’s submitted a request asking for some time up until 22nd December. He was taken for questioning after his residence was raided and some tablets were seized. Rampal had said he had a prescription for the drugs.

There have been reports suggesting the actor may be facing arrest.
