NCB confirm statements recorded by Deepika, Shraddha, Sara; no fresh summons

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has confirmed that today, they have recorded the statements of Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan in the drugs probe started in the aftermath of the death of Sushant Singh Rajput and the arrest of Rhea Chakraborty for her admission on procuring drugs.

“Statements of Karishma Prakash, Sara Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone & Shraddha Kapoor. Kshitij Prasad has been placed under arrested after questioning. No fresh summon has been issued today. We have arrested more than 18 people, said Mutha Ashok Jain, Director-General of NCB, according to E Times.

Ali Khan’s involvement happened after Chakraborty spoke in an interview and said that Singh Rajput started smoking drugs during the shoot of 2018’s ‘Kedarnath’. Kapoor had been summoned after there was a chat released between her and Jaya Saha, Singh Rajput’s former manager, which mentioned CBD oil.

Padukone, on the other hand, received summons after a WhatsApp chat from 2017 was leaked with her manager Karishma Prakash suggesting procurement of drugs.
